Flurry the Bear is near to a new stage in his development. Currently, JS Skye, LLC and company are working with their full-time artist Alvin Hew and Scared Rabbit Productions to create a brand new and interactive website. Alvin Hew is also doing all of the artwork for the website, this blog, and the book covers of the novel series. The next few months, we will be revamping everything and raising the quality and professionalism of Flurry to a whole new level. The new website will feature more FREE material as well as have interactive elements such as GAMES.
With that said, this means you have a very limited time to get the “original” versions of the first two novels. They are sure to be collector’s items in the future because they will be discontinued and replaced by a 2nd edition with NEW cover art and spine. Our plans are to publish the third novel and re-release the first two novels in their 2nd edition iteration around the same time, making the 1st editions obsolete. Take advantage of this while you still can, as the supply of books will be LIMITED.
Each novel ranges from 150 – 180 pages in length. The books have approximately 7 chapters each. They are written for children 9 – 12 or older but are also GREAT for reading them to younger children. Three months have passed since Flurry arrived in Middleasia and joined his new family. Everything seemed to be going well and Flurry greatly enjoyed his new life away from the North Pole. However, just when life seemed to be getting better for Flurry he gets a most unwelcome surprise. Flurry finds out that he now has a sister. Emotions ensue and jealousies rage, but Flurry will need to learn to set aside his negative feelings if he is to rescue his sister and his friend from the clutches of the tribal cats from the land of the Sourpie. Flurry will need to use his wits to not only protect his friend and sister, but to also save the land from an impending doom. Flurry’s Second Novel Coming Soon!
Flurry is about to embark on a new adventure in addition to discovering that he now has a sister. This book is the sequel to “Flurry the Bear and the Christmas Wish”. Being the second book in the Flurry the Bear series it takes place three months after the events of the first book. Expect this book to be released during the holiday season of 2012. If you loved the first book, the next book is a must have! It delves deeper into the other characters. You’ll learn more about Flurry’s friend Caboose and about Flurry’s sister. You might say, “But Flurry didn’t have a sister in the first book!” All the more reason for your to read this book and find out what’s happened in the three months that Flurry’s been away from the North Pole.

I was excited to do a Google search for “Flurry the Bear” and find links to the novel at Barnes & Noble and at Books-A-Million. I’m going to go in and check if the book can be ordered and picked up in-store, but I assume it can since it is available on their website. This is so exciting! Check it out!
